Armida Trezza, RN, MSN, CDE was born in Brooklyn, New York.
Armida is a Certified Diabetes Educator, qualified to help patients with all aspects of their diabetes management. She coordinates the diabetes support group and works closely with Chris Weahunt, our Registered Dietitian, on weight control for our practice. In addition, she helps patients learn to self-monitor their blood pressure, and control their asthma.
She is also the coordinator for any research trials done by the practice.
She attended the City University of New York at Hunter College-Bellevue Hospital School of Nursing, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She then worked at Bellevue Hospital in the pediatrics department. She also worked with the Visiting Nurse Association of New York as a community health nurse in the lower east side of New York City. She attended graduate school at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she received her Master of Sciences in community health nursing.
